Pastor John E. Miller currently serves as Senior Pastor of Spencer Church of the Nazarene in Spencer, West Virginia — bringing his 28+ years of ministry experience to this congregation after 12 years of pastoral ministry in Wahiawa, Hawaii.
Known as a "restart pastor," he specializes in church revitalization — breathing new life into congregations that need a fresh start. With a Master of Ministry from Point Loma Nazarene University and over 31 years of personal recovery experience, John's writing carries a pastoral authority that is both theologically grounded and deeply personal.
His Wesleyan theology emphasizes grace, free will, and a God who never gives up on people. Alongside his pastoral work, John is the Founder and CEO of Nazkine TV Publishing LLC — a full-service publishing company serving his own work and client authors.
Pastor John has been married to Carla for 32 years. Together they are partners in life, ministry, and publishing. Carla co-founded Moving Stitches 304, a home embroidery business, and wrote the foreword to his book Apples in a Seed.
Their family is a testimony to God's faithfulness through every season — joy and grief, adventure and homecoming.
